A TV anime produced by Lerche, based on the BL manga by Natsuki Kizu serialized in Shinshokan's "Cheri+." The series has 4.5 million copies in circulation (as of 2024). High school student Ritsuka Uenoyama, who has a natural talent for guitar, meets the mysterious Mafuyu Sato napping with a broken guitar. Reluctantly agreeing to teach him guitar, Ritsuka is captivated by Mafuyu's singing voice and invites him to join his band as vocalist. With bassist Haruki Nakayama and drummer Akihiko Kaji, the four begin performing, but Mafuyu is haunted by the past involving his deceased childhood friend Yuki Yoshida. Through music, Mafuyu confronts his past as new feelings blossom between him and Ritsuka. Aired on Fuji TV's "noitaminA" block for 11 episodes. Directed by Hikaru Yamaguchi.
