The third season of the TV anime produced by Madhouse. Based on the manga by Yuki Suetsugu serialized in Kodansha's BE・LOVE, with over 25 million copies in circulation (as of 2019). After Mizusawa High School's karuta club wins their first team championship at the national tournament, Chihaya Ayase undergoes surgery on her injured right fingers and joins a summer training camp at Fujisaki High School with Taichi Mashima, striving to compete in the Master and Queen matches. However, she learns a troubling fact that threatens her Queen match qualification. Meanwhile, Arata Wataya begins working to establish a karuta club in Fukui. The relationship between Chihaya, Taichi, and Arata undergoes changes as Taichi struggles between his feelings for Chihaya and Arata's presence. 24 episodes.
