Based on the light novel by Miya Kazuki published by TO Books, originating from the web novel platform "Shosetsuka ni Naro," with illustrations by You Shiina. Over 10 million copies in circulation (as of 2023, including digital). Urano Motosu, a book-loving college student, dies in an accident on the day she is hired at a library and is reborn as Myne, a frail young girl in a poor soldier's family in another world. In the medieval-like city of Ehrenfest, books are a luxury reserved for nobles. Using her knowledge from her previous life, Myne begins by making paper, determined to obtain books. She meets childhood friend Lutz, merchant Benno, and Head Priest Ferdinand, fighting against the rigid class system in her "ascendance" where she'll stop at nothing for books.
