A TV anime produced by Satelight, based on the light novel by Chiaki Kisaki (published by KADOKAWA Media Works Bunko). Set in Hakata, Fukuoka, the series follows the underworld operatives—assassins, detectives, avengers, torturers, and informants—who lurk in the city's shadows. The story centers on Lin Xianming, a hitman who poses as a freelance web designer, and Zenji Banba, a private detective, as they navigate incidents in Hakata's criminal underworld.
