A TV anime produced by Shaft, based on TYPE-MOON's game "Fate/EXTRA." Set in the Moon Cell Automaton's Holy Grail War, the story follows Master Hakuno Kishinami who awakens and fights alongside the Red Saber, Nero Claudius, on a journey to reach the far side of the Moon. Directed by Akiyuki Shinbo with series composition by Kinoko Nasu (creator of the Fate series).
