A TV anime produced by Bandai Namco Pictures, based on the manga by Hideaki Sorachi (serialized in Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump"). The final arc of the sci-fi period comedy set in an alternate Edo-era Japan invaded by aliens ("Amanto"). Gintoki Sakata of the Odd Jobs crew faces the approaching final battle alongside his companions.
