A TV anime produced by Kinema Citrus, part of Bushiroad's multimedia project. Stage girls at Seisho Music Academy battle each other in mysterious auditions called "Revues," staking their brilliance. Centered on the childhood promise between Karen Aijo and Hikari Kagura, the 99th class students aim for the position of Top Star. The series was praised for its innovative direction fusing stage theater with animation and its high-quality musical numbers. Main cast includes Momoyo Koyama (Karen) and Suzuko Mimori (Hikari).
