A TV anime produced by Seven, based on the novel by Mai Mochizuki published by Futabasha's "Futaba Bunko." The series has surpassed 3 million copies in circulation. Set in "Kura," an antique shop on Teramachi Sanjo in Kyoto, the story follows Kiyotaka Yagashira (nicknamed "Holmes"), the shop owner's grandson, and high school part-timer Aoi Mashiro as they solve various mysteries involving antiques. A slice-of-life mystery featuring beautiful depictions of Kyoto's landmarks and culture, highlighting Holmes's appraisal skills and deductive abilities.
