A TV anime produced by NAZ, based on the manga by Nanahiko Takagi published by KADOKAWA's "Kadokawa Comics Ace." Set during the Battle of Bun'ei (1274) in the Kamakura period, this historical action series depicts the fight of Tsushima's samurai against the Mongol invasion of Japan. Jinzaburo Kuchii, a former retainer exiled to Tsushima, fights alongside the islanders against the Mongol army. A weighty war chronicle based on historical events.
