The second season of the TV anime produced by Geno Studio, based on the manga by Satoru Noda serialized in Shueisha's "Weekly Young Jump." The series has surpassed 27 million copies in circulation (as of 2024). Winner of the "Manga Taisho 2016." Set in Hokkaido after the Russo-Japanese War, the adventure follows Saichi Sugimoto, known as "Immortal Sugimoto," and Ainu girl Asirpa as they pursue a vast Ainu treasure using coded tattoos on escaped Abashiri Prison inmates. The second season intensifies the competition with the 7th Division and Hijikata Toshizo's faction. Main cast includes Chikahiro Kobayashi (Sugimoto) and Haruka Shiraishi (Asirpa).
