A TV anime produced by Kyoto Animation, based on the novel by Kotoko Ayano published by KA Esuma Bunko. A sports anime centered on kyudo (Japanese archery). Minato Narumiya, troubled by "hayake" (premature release) trauma from middle school, joins the Kazemai High School kyudo club and rediscovers his passion through his teammates. The work carefully depicts the beautiful form of drawing a bow and the characters' mental growth. Features Kyoto Animation's signature delicate animation and direction. Aired on NHK General.
