A TV anime produced by Lerche, based on the manga by Mengo Yokoyari serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits, with over 4 million copies in circulation. Hanabi Yasuraoka, an honor student harboring deep inner darkness, and Mugi Awaya, who has an unrequited love for a teacher, enter a fake relationship knowing their true feelings can never be fulfilled. The series vividly portrays bittersweet romantic entanglements and the characters' twisted affections, aired in the Noitamina programming block. Directed by Masaomi Ando across 12 episodes.
