A second season TV anime produced by Studio DEEN, based on the manga by Haruko Kumota serialized in Kodansha's ITAN, with over 3 million copies in circulation. Continuing from the first season, the story follows Yotaro (the third-generation Sukeroku), apprentice to the 8th generation Yakumo, as he achieves the rank of shin'uchi and forges a new path in the world of rakugo. The dark secrets of master Yakumo's past and the truth behind Sukeroku's death gradually unfold. Acclaimed for its authentic reproduction of rakugo performances, with stellar performances by voice actors Akira Ishida and Tomokazu Seki. Directed by Mamoru Hatakeyama across 12 episodes.
