A sixth season TV anime produced by Shuka, based on the manga by Yuki Midorikawa serialized in Hakusensha's LaLa, with over 16 million copies in series circulation (as of 2024). The sixth season of the story following Takashi Natsume, a boy who can see yokai, as he returns the names inscribed in his grandmother Reiko's "Book of Friends" to their yokai owners. Alongside bodyguard Nyanko-sensei (Madara), the series depicts Natsume's daily life caught between yokai and humans, and encounters with new spirits.
