Ajin: Demi-Human is a TV anime based on Gamon Sakurai's manga serialized in Kodansha's good! Afternoon, with over 8 million copies in circulation. Aired from January 2016, it depicts a world where immortal beings called "Ajin" have been discovered. When high school student Kei Nagai learns he is an Ajin, the story follows his escape and inner conflict in a suspenseful action thriller exploring the clash between human society and Ajin, and questions of bioethics. Produced as a full 3DCG animation by Polygon Pictures.
