Handa-kun is a TV anime based on Satsuki Yoshino's manga serialized in Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan, aired from July 2016. A prequel to Barakamon focusing on Sei Handa's high school days. This school comedy follows Handa, who is actually the most popular student but believes everyone hates him, with humor arising from the misunderstandings between him and those around him.
