Hitori no Shita: The Outcast is a TV anime based on Mi Er's Chinese web manga, aired from July 2016 as a Sino-Japanese co-production. This battle action follows ordinary college student Zhang Chulan, who meets mysterious girl Feng Baobao and gets drawn into the world of people with supernatural abilities called "Qi." The series features a unique worldview incorporating Chinese Taoism and martial arts elements. Produced by Pierrot x Haoliners Animation League.
