Doukyuusei: Classmates is a theatrical anime based on Asumiko Nakamura's manga, released February 2016. A boys' love work depicting how honor student Rihito Sajou and bandsman Hikaru Kusakabe gradually fall for each other after Hikaru helps Sajou practice for the chorus festival. A-1 Pictures' Akemi Hayashi served as character designer and chief animation director, beautifully reproducing the original's delicate art style.
