THE IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls is a TV anime based on Bandai Namco Entertainment's social game of the same name, aired from January 2015. Produced by A-1 Pictures, it follows girls including Uzuki Shimamura, Rin Shibuya, and Mio Honda as they are scouted by a Producer and strive to become top idols. A spinoff of the IDOLM@STER franchise featuring characters selected from a game with over 180 idol candidates, the series depicts their growth and bonds. It was highly praised for its stunning live performance sequences and realistic ensemble drama portraying the idols' struggles and setbacks.
