Assassination Classroom is a TV anime based on Yusei Matsui's manga serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, with over 25 million copies in circulation. Aired from January 2015, it follows the super-creature "Koro-sensei" who destroyed 70% of the moon and becomes the homeroom teacher of Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High, challenging his students to assassinate him by March of the following year. The series depicts the growth of underachieving students through assassination attempts and their bond with their ultimate teacher. Produced by Lerche.
