Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] 2nd Season is the second cour of the TV anime based on TYPE-MOON's visual novel, aired from April 2015. Produced by ufotable, it adapts the "Rin Route" of the story where Shirou Emiya is drawn into the Holy Grail War alongside Saber. The second half focuses on the fateful connection between Shirou and Archer and his bond with Rin Tohsaka, building to a spectacular climax. The series drew tremendous attention for ufotable's overwhelmingly high-quality battle animation.
