Gunslinger Stratos is a TV anime based on Square Enix's arcade game, aired from April 2015. Produced by A-1 Pictures with story concept by Gen Urobuchi, the sci-fi action is set in 2115 Japan where inhabitants of two parallel worlds—the stable managed society "17th Far East Imperial City Management District" and the ruined free society "Frontier S"—fight for their world's survival. Protagonist Tohru Kazasumi confronts his own counterpart from the other world.
