Punch Line is an original TV anime produced by MAPPA, aired from April 2015 in the Noitamina block. The sci-fi comedy follows Yuta Iridatsu, a boy who becomes a ghost after a traffic accident and watches over the quirky female residents of the apartment building "Koraikan" while struggling to avert a global crisis. Behind the comedic premise—where seeing panties causes his power to go berserk and destroy the Earth—lies clever foreshadowing and an emotionally impactful truth. Written by Kotaro Uchikoshi.
