Himouto! Umaru-chan is a TV anime based on Sankakuhead's manga serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump, with over 4 million copies in circulation. Aired from July 2015, the comedy depicts the dual life of Umaru—a perfect high school girl with beautiful looks, excellent grades, and athletic prowess in public, who transforms into a lazy "himouto" (deadbeat little sister) at home, lounging around playing games and watching anime.
