The Asterisk War is a TV anime based on Yuu Miyazaki's light novel published by KADOKAWA's MF Bunko J, aired from October 2015. Set in "Rikka," the world's largest integrated battle entertainment city, the school battle action follows Ayato Amagiri, who transfers to Seidoukan Academy and partners with the "Witch of Resplendent Flames" Julis to compete in the "Phoenix Festa" tournament. Produced by A-1 Pictures.
