Hozuki's Coolheadedness is a TV anime based on Natsumi Eguchi's manga serialized in Kodansha's Morning magazine, with over 16 million copies in circulation. Aired from January 2014, produced by WIT Studio, this black comedy is set in Japanese Hell, following Hozuki, the chief deputy to the Great King Enma, as he handles issues like overwork and staffing shortages in Hell while interacting with distinctive demons and deceased souls. The series became popular for its unique world-building based on Japanese conceptions of Hell and yokai folklore, and for Hozuki's cool-headed yet highly capable character. 13 episodes.
