Magical Warfare is a TV anime based on Hisashi Suzuki's light novel published by MF Bunko J (KADOKAWA Media Factory), aired from January 2014. Produced by Madhouse, the story follows kendo club high schooler Takeshi Nanase, who awakens magical powers after rescuing a collapsed girl named Mui Aiba, and gets drawn into battles between mages in another dimension called the "Ruined World." A battle fantasy set across the dual structure of the real world and the Ruined World. 12 episodes.
