Recently, My Sister Is Unusual is a TV anime based on Mari Matsuzawa's manga serialized in KADOKAWA Fujimi Shobo's Dragon Age magazine, aired from January 2014. Produced by project No.9, the romantic comedy centers on Mitsuki and Yuya Kanzaki, who become step-siblings through their parents' remarriage. When Mitsuki gets possessed by an earthbound spirit girl named Hiyori Kotobuki, the ghost uses Mitsuki's body to pursue romance with Yuya in hopes of ascending to heaven. The series interweaves the awkward dynamic between step-siblings with ghostly antics. 12 episodes.
