Rail Wars! is a TV anime based on Takumi Toyoda's light novel published by Sogei-sha Clear Bunko, aired from July 2014. Produced by Passione, this action comedy is set in an alternate Japan where the national railway was never privatized. High schooler Naoto Takayama, assigned to the Railway Public Safety Force, tackles railway-related incidents alongside Aoi Sakurai, Nana Iida, and Sho Iwaizumi. The series blends realistic railway details from its train enthusiast author with romantic comedy elements among the team members. 12 episodes.
