An original TV anime by Kyoto Animation based on Kouji Ooji's novel "High Speed!" Centered on swimming, it depicts the youth and friendship of Iwatobi High School swim club members Haruka Nanase, Makoto Tachibana, Nagisa Hazuki, and Rei Ryugazaki, along with their rival Rin Matsuoka from Samezuka Academy. It gained immense popularity for its beautiful water animation and the bonds between the high school boys.
