Cobra the Animation

A TV anime based on Buichi Terasawa's manga Cobra (serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump from 1978 to 1984, 18 volumes). Produced by Magic Bus and directed by Keizo Shimizu, with music by Yoshihiro Ike. The 13-episode series aired on BS11 from January to March 2010. The story follows space pirate Cobra, who wields the Psychogun on his left arm, as he and his android partner Lady battle the Pirate Guild across the galaxy. The original manga has sold over 50 million copies.
