Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts

A TV anime based on Kenji Inoue's light novel series (published by Famitsu Bunko, illustrated by Yui Haga). Produced by SILVER LINK. and directed by Shin Oonuma. It aired for 13 episodes from January to March 2010 on TV Tokyo. Set at Fumizuki Academy with its unique system of class battles using summoned avatars whose strength matches test scores. A comedy following Class F's Akihisa Yoshii as they challenge Class A. An OVA and second season were produced in 2011.
