A TV anime produced by Madhouse based on the manga by Daisuke Sato (story) and Shouji Sato (art) serialized in Monthly Dragon Age. Aired from July to September 2010 with 12 episodes. The peaceful daily lives of high school students are shattered when zombies known as "Them" suddenly appear en masse. Takashi Komuro, Rei Miyamoto, Saeko Busujima, and others escape from their school and fight for survival in a world engulfed by pandemic. Directed by Tetsuro Araki with series composition and scripts by Yosuke Kuroda, character designs and chief animation direction by Masayoshi Tanaka, and music by Takafumi Wada.
