The second season TV anime produced by AIC Spirits based on the mixed-media project by Fumikane Shimada & Projekt Kagonish. Aired from July to September 2010 with 12 episodes. The 501st Joint Fighter Wing "Strike Witches," disbanded after the first season, is reassembled. As the threat of the alien enemy "Neuroi" returns, Yoshika Miyafuji and her fellow Witches don their Striker Units and wield magical powers to fight for humanity's survival. A military fantasy based on a World War II-inspired setting that depicts the friendship and growth of young girls. Directed with character designs by Kazuhiro Takamura and music by Seiko Nagaoka.
