The first installment of the Marvel Anime Project, produced by Madhouse based on Marvel Comics. 12 episodes. Tony Stark decides to retire as Iron Man and travels to Japan to test the successor Iron Man Dio Armor and install a new Arc Reactor. However, the Dio Armor is stolen by the mysterious organization Zodiac, forcing him back into action. Directed by Yuzo Sato with series composition by Toshiki Inoue and character design by Takahiro Umehara. Keiji Fujiwara voices Tony Stark and Hiroe Oka voices Pepper Potts.
