"K-ON!" is a TV anime based on the 4-panel manga by Kakifly, serialized in Manga Time Kirara. Upon entering high school, Yui Hirasawa joins the nearly-disbanded light music club and forms the band "After School Tea Time" with Ritsu Tainaka, Mio Akiyama, and Tsumugi Kotobuki. Despite having zero musical experience, Yui becomes passionate about guitar as the group bonds through tea parties, practice sessions, and school festival performances.
