"Taisho Baseball Girls" is a TV anime produced by J.C.STAFF, based on the light novel by Jun Kagurazaka. Directed by Takashi Ikehata with music by Takayuki Hattori, the series aired from July to September 2009 on TBS for 12 episodes. Set in the 14th year of Taisho era (1925), refined young ladies at Toho Seika Girls' Academy take on the challenge of playing baseball despite knowing nothing about the sport.
