A 32-episode adventure action anime broadcast on TV Asahi from February to September 2000, produced by Toei Animation. An original work by Izumi Todo, loosely modeled on Journey to the West. Three hundred years after the extinction of humanity, the Earth is ruled by artificial life forms called Enterrans. Yakumo, the sole surviving human awakened from cold sleep, journeys westward with three humanoid Enterran companions: Mushra, Sago, and Kutal. The mystery of the legendary warrior "Mushrambo" drives the story. Licensed internationally as "Shinzo." ©Izumi Todo/Toei Animation.
