Based on the manga by Kosuke Fujishima (serialized in Kodansha's Morning magazine), this is the second TV season following the 1994 OVA and 1996 TV series. Directed by Shogo Kawamoto, series composition by Michiko Yokote, character design by Atsuko Nakashima, music by Sachi Otani and Fuminori Iwasaki.
