Princess Tutu

An original ballet fantasy anime produced by Hal Film Maker. It aired for 26 episodes on Kids Station from August 2002 to May 2003. A girl named Ahiru transforms into Princess Tutu through magic and collects the shattered pieces of a mysterious prince's heart through ballet. Set against classical music by Tchaikovsky and others, this fantastical work blurs the line between story and reality. Both OP and ED are performed by the late Ritsuko Okazaki.
