A TV anime based on Bandai Namco Games' classic game franchise, animated by GONZO. Set 80 years after the legendary hero Gil and priestess Ki's story, the series takes place during the "Summer of Anu," when demons in the tower weaken every five years. Adventurers gather to seek the fabled Blue Crystal Rod on the tower's highest floor. The protagonist Jil embarks on a quest to defeat Druaga with companions to restore his father's honor.
