A TV anime based on the light novel by Jin Shibamura, animated by ZEXCS. Brothers Noboru and Toru Takagami return to their late mother's hometown. Toru possesses a strong Yin energy that makes him a constant target for yokai. When Toru is attacked, Noboru releases the fox deity Kugen Tenko from a long imprisonment. Kugen now serves as the protector of the Takagami household, guarding the brothers from supernatural threats while hilariously struggling to adapt to modern life.
