A TV anime based on the manga by Michiharu Kusunoki. Set on the Metropolitan Expressway Bayshore Route, the story centers on the legendary "Devil Z" (Fairlady Z S30) and its new owner Akio Asakura, depicting the human drama of those captivated by high-speed racing. When Akio encounters the cursed machine said to have killed multiple previous owners, he becomes entranced by its speed and plunges into fierce battles against rivals like Tatsuya Shima in his Blackbird (Porsche 911 Turbo).
