"Nodame Cantabile: Paris Chapter" is the second season of the TV anime based on Tomoko Ninomiya's manga, produced by J.C.STAFF. It aired from October to December 2008 for 11 episodes. Shinichi Chiaki travels to France to pursue his musical career, followed by Nodame (Megumi Noda). Chiaki studies conducting at the Conservatoire while Nodame strives as a piano student. Set in Paris, the two grow as musicians through encounters with new friends and music in this overseas chapter of the classical music comedy.
