Kurozuka

"Kurozuka" is a TV anime produced by Madhouse, based on Baku Yumemakura's novel. It aired from October to December 2008 for 12 episodes. Kuro, a warrior serving Minamoto no Yoshitsune, encounters the breathtakingly beautiful Kuromitsu deep in the mountains and falls in love. However, Kuromitsu is an immortal vampire. The two are torn apart, and Kuro becomes an immortal being through Kuromitsu's blood. A dark fantasy action depicting Kuro's epic journey spanning hundreds of years from the Heian period to the near future. Directed by Tetsuro Araki.
