"Tales of the Abyss" is a TV anime based on Bandai Namco Games' popular RPG, produced by Sunrise. It aired from October 2008 to March 2009 for 26 episodes. Luke fon Fabre, the only son of a duke in the Kingdom of Kimlasca-Lanvaldear, lost his memories due to a kidnapping and was raised confined to his mansion. An encounter with Tear sends Luke out into the world for the first time. An epic adventure fantasy where he defies the fate of a world ruled by the "Score" and discovers the meaning of his existence alongside his companions. (C) Kosuke Fujishima (C) BNEI
