Tentai Senshi Sunred

"Tentai Senshi Sunred" is a TV anime based on the manga by Kubota Makoto, produced by AIC ASTA. Season 1 aired from October 2008 to March 2009, and Season 2 from October 2009 to March 2010. Set in Mizonokuchi, Kawasaki, this gag anime depicts battles between hero Sunred and the evil organization Florsheim. The comedy comes from subverted expectations: Sunred is a crude freeloading delinquent, while the Florsheim monsters are polite, domestically skilled, and socially well-adjusted.
