Buzzer Beater Season 2 is the second season TV anime produced by TMS Entertainment, based on the web manga by Takehiko Inoue. Broadcast on Nippon Television from July to September 2007 for 13 episodes. In the year 2XXX, basketball has become a universal sport with the Space League at its pinnacle. Dominated by physically superior aliens, the league sees an Earth team enter for the first time. Street-raised boy Hideyoshi and other human players take on the strongest opponents in the universe in this sci-fi basketball action series.
