"ef - a tale of memories." is a TV anime adaptation of minori's romance adventure game "ef - a fairy tale of the two.", produced by Shaft and directed by Shin Onuma. Aired October to December 2007, 12 episodes. The story depicts two intertwining love stories: Hiro Hirono and Miyako Miyamura, and Kyosuke Tsutsumi and Kei Shindou. Praised for its experimental visual direction under chief director Akiyuki Shinbo and beautiful music by Tenmon.
