Shugo Chara! is a TV anime adaptation of PEACH-PIT's manga, produced by Satelight. Aired October 2007 to September 2008 on TV Tokyo, 51 episodes. The story follows Amu Hinamori, an elementary school girl perceived as cool and unapproachable, who gives birth to Guardian Characters representing her ideal selves and gains transformation abilities. She embarks on adventures involving the mysterious Easter Corporation's search for the legendary Embryo egg.
